I designed and launched over 25 mobile apps and various multichannel campaigns for in-house and client projects as the leas designer alongside the dev team.

Designed and managed the production of all mobile apps and websites with development.

Launched iPad editions of SPIN, VIBE and BlackBook magazines. Designed and created exclusive interactive content expanding the reach of iconic magazines.

Created multichannel digital ad campaigns for brands such as Ketel One and Smartwater.

Led and mentored interdisciplinary design teams, junior designers, and interns.

 

MFA Media Design
Art Center College of Design

2006 - 2009
Pasadena, CA

Media Design Practices at Art Center is an interdisciplinary design MFA focusing on design research methods, communication design and theory, and productive interaction design.

As part of the 6 semester curriculum, I worked with the design team investigating families with teenagers and their outlooks towards the future in relation to nature and global warming.

My Master’s Thesis examines the branding subcultures that have emerged through new media tools on the internet. The project includes experimental methods for designers to glean information from these new cultures and ultimately transform branding practices. Thesis advisors include Anne Burdick, Lisa Krohn, Sean Donahue and Peter Lunenfeld.
